Cooperative Learning dengan Metode STAD: Sebuah Alternatif dalam Meningkatkan Minat Belajar pada Mata Kuliah Pendidikan Agama Kristen
Abstract
The problem of the learning process of Christian religious education in universities generally lies in the low interest in student learning, which is caused by the use of conventional methods applied by educators. One of the current learning approaches that is considered relevant to be applied in learning activities in Christian religious education courses in universities is the implementation of cooperative learning using the STAD method. This research intends to find out whether the implementation of cooperative learning with the STAD method plays an important role in increasing student interest in participating in learning which will correlate with the completeness of student learning in the field of Christian religious education studies. In obtaining research data, the authors conducted class action research, which is an activity carried out directly in the classroom to observe a series of events in order to update practice in learning so that the learning process is of high quality so that learning outcomes are to the maximum. The results of the research show that the implementation of cooperative learning with the STAD method in Christian religious education courses has a significant correlation in increasing student interest in learning and providing better learning outcomes.
