Measuring customer satisfaction is crucial for increasing loyalty and increasing the number of high-speed train users. Research on high-speed trains has provided insights into service quality. In general, passengers are satisfied with the service provided, especially regarding the important features that characterize high-speed trains. The Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Train (KCJB) WHOOSH has the potential to drive new economic growth while complementing the railway transportation ecosystem in Indonesia. Evaluating the performance of services and facilities provided by PT KCIC, especially at the Halim Perdanakusuma Whoosh High-Speed Train Station, East Jakarta, based on studies of service levels to users at several stations, is expected to increase the number of users. This descriptive quantitative research aims to analyze the determinants of public choice of the WHOOSH transportation mode. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires and tested for validity and reliability using SPSS. Data analysis using SPSS showed that there were two variables with the strongest influence on passenger motivation: perceived comfort according to standards (41.75%) and ease of access to the station (55.48%). Variables that do not support the motivation of high-speed train passengers are variables X3 (complaints experienced by customers), X4 (arrival and departure times), X5 (services according to passenger needs), X6 (high-speed train ticket prices), X7 (additional service facilities), and X8 (high-speed train travel frequency). From these variables, the initial eigenvalues are below 10%. Based on the results of public responses that are quite satisfied with the existence of high-speed trains as an alternative mode of transportation to Bandung City, it is hoped that the government and KCIC will improve services in terms of fares, which can be said to still not be in accordance with what the public wants. Thus, station accessibility and fleet comfort are the main keys to passenger preferences for train transportation.
