Kajian atas Kurikulum International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB-PYP) dan Implikasinya dalam Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen
Abstrak
The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB-PYP) curriculum is an educational curriculum designed to develop learners' creative thinking and social skills through a multidisciplinary approach that includes Language, Social Sciences, Arts, Science, and Physical, Social, and personal education, except Christian Religious Education (CRE), which has not been an integral part of this program. CRE subjects should also be multidisciplinary. CRE teaching materials should be open towards various other sciences so that the subject matter becomes relevant to the formation of students' intelligence or skills as broadly and optimally as possible. The purpose of this research is to review the curriculum and implicate it in the development of Christian religious education teaching materials for elementary schools. This research method uses descriptive qualitative through literature study. The results of this study explain that the IB-PYP curriculum can be a model for the development of multidisciplinary CRE teaching materials so as to expand the ability of creative thinking and improve students' social skills.
