About the Journal

Jurnal Pro-Life is a peer-reviewed open access journal published by the Biology Education Department, Universitas Kristen Indonesia. The journal provides a scholarly platform for researchers, lecturers, and practitioners to publish their latest findings in Biology, Biology Education, and related scientific fields.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process conducted by reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject area. The journal publishes three issues per year: March, July, and November.
Jurnal Pro-Life is freely accessible, and all content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
Scope
Pro-Life welcomes research articles in the following areas:
Biology Education: Biology teaching and learning, Classroom Action Research, Learning Media Development, Learning Theory, Learning Model Development, Biology Learning Evaluation, and Curriculum in Biology.
Biology: Botany, Zoology, Ecology, Taxonomy, Systematics, Morphology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Biodiversity.
Related Disciplines of Biology and Biology Education: Ethnobiology, Ethnobotany, Ethnozoology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Agriculture, Food Science, Nutrition and Health, Environmental Science, and Science Learning.

Jurnal Pro-Life adalah jurnal akses terbuka yang ditelaah oleh mitra bestari (peer-reviewed) dan diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi, Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Jurnal ini menyediakan wadah ilmiah bagi peneliti, dosen, dan praktisi untuk mempublikasikan temuan terbaru di bidang Biologi, Pendidikan Biologi, dan disiplin ilmu terkait.
Setiap naskah yang dikirimkan menjalani proses penelaahan double-blind peer review oleh reviewer yang memiliki keahlian sesuai bidang kajian. Jurnal ini terbit tiga kali setahun, yaitu edisi Maret, Juli, dan November.
Jurnal Pro-Life dapat diakses secara bebas, dan seluruh konten diterbitkan di bawah Lisensi Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0).
Ruang Lingkup
Pro-Life menerima artikel penelitian yang mencakup berbagai bidang:
Pendidikan Biologi: Pengajaran dan pembelajaran Biologi, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research), Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran, Teori Belajar, Pengembangan Model Pembelajaran, Evaluasi Pembelajaran, dan Kurikulum Biologi.
Biologi: Botani, Zoologi, Ekologi, Taksonomi, Sistematika, Morfologi, Biokimia, Mikrobiologi, dan Keanekaragaman Hayati.
Ilmu Serumpun Biologi dan Pendidikan Biologi: Etnobiologi, Etnobotani, Etnozoologi, Farmasi, Kedokteran, Pertanian, Ilmu Pangan, Gizi dan Kesehatan, Ilmu Lingkungan, serta Pembelajaran Sains.
