THE INFLUENCE OF TECHNOLOGICAL LITERACY AND INTRINSIC MOTIVATION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF CIVIL SERVANTS AT THE BUREAU OF HUMAN RESOURCES, NATIONAL CIVIL SERVICE AGENCY HEADQUARTERS
Abstract
Analysis of the influence of technological competence and intrinsic motivation on the performance of state civil servants at the Human Resources Office of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) headquarters in the era of bureaucratic digital transformation, technological capabilities and internal motivation are key elements in improving efficiency and work quality. A total of 50 respondents indicated that technological literacy contributes significantly to the acceleration, accuracy, and effectiveness of task completion. In addition, intrinsic motivation has also been shown to improve performance by strengthening employee commitment, responsibility, and dedication. These two factors, simultaneously impacting employee performance improvement at the central BKN, confirms that performance optimization is determined by technical, psychological, and work attitude aspects. Therefore, government agencies need to design ongoing training programs to strengthen technological competence, while simultaneously building a conducive work climate to foster employee intrinsic motivation. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a reference for BKN and other agencies in formulating HR development policies and strategies that are in line with the demands of digital transformation, and oriented towards improving the performance and quality of public services.
