Abstract

Kemal Fauzan, Analysis of the Relationship between Work Stress and Incentives on Employee Performance at PT Sari Manda.

This study investigates the dynamics of Job Stress and Incentive schemes in relation to Employee Performance at PT Sari Manda. Theoretically, Job Stress is identified as a psychological constraint that distorts work effectiveness, whereas Incentives are positioned as a catalyst to escalate productivity. Adopting a quantitative methodology, data were gathered from 50 participants via questionnaires and subsequently analyzed using SPSS version 26. Empirical findings reveal that Job Stress partially maintains a very strong correlation with Employee Performance, as evidenced by a Spearman Rank correlation value of 0.980 (sig. 0.00). Furthermore, the Incentive variable demonstrates a significant linear relationship with staff performance, yielding a correlation coefficient of 0.976. Simultaneously, the integration of both independent variables through the Pearson Product Moment test resulted in a multiple correlation value of 0.9301. These results confirm that appropriate management of workplace pressure combined with supplementary compensation serves as a primary determinant in optimizing Employee Performance at PT Sari Manda.
