Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between financial compensation and the physical work environment on employee performance at PT Prime Link Communication. The researh is motivated by the decline in employee performance achievements in recent years, which is presumed to be influenced by the suboptimal compensation system and workplace conditions. The study applies an associative quantitative approach, with the population consisting of permanent employees, and uses a saturated sampling technique involving 50 respondents. Data were collected through a likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using the spearman rank correlation test. The Findings indicate that compensation has a significant relationship with employee performance, with a correlation coeffcient of 0.353. Similarly, the work environment also shows a significant relationship with empkoyee performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.380. Collectively, compensation and work environment exhibit a significant effect on empolyee performance, as indicated bye the t-value exceeding the t-table value. Although the level of correlation is relatively low, the result still contribute meaningfully to improving employee performance.
