This workshop on Renewable Energy Projects at SMP Kristen Ketapang III Cibubur was part of a community service program organized by the Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Kristen Indonesia. The aim of this workshop was to enhance students' scientific skills related to renewable energy and 21st-century competencies through a project-based learning (PBL) approach while promoting teaching aids developed by the Physics Education Study Program. The workshop was conducted on February 13–14, 2025, involving 52 students divided into 11 groups, working on projects such as solar panel installation, micro-hydro power generation, biomaterial-based batteries, and renewable energy-powered vehicles. Evaluation was carried out using a participant satisfaction questionnaire, revealing that 83.93% of students found the projects relevant to their needs, 85.27% agreed that the projects increased their learning motivation, and 88.84% expressed satisfaction with the instructors' mastery of the material. These findings indicated that the implementation of project-based workshops could be an effective method to improve students' understanding of physics concepts and their awareness of renewable energy. The results also suggested that integrating project-based learning media into community service programs could significantly impact more applicable and contextual science education.
