Abstract

Emosi manusia berperan penting dalam membentuk cara pandang dan sikap terhadap lingkungan. Sejumlah peneliti menunjukkan bahwa keterhubungan emosional dengan alam dapat menumbuhkan kepedulian ekologis yang lebih mendalam. Tulisan ini berupaya mengintegrasikan gagasan para ahli tentang ekologi emosional ke dalam konteks pendidikan agama Kristen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur untuk menelusuri konsep ekologi emosional dan relevansinya bagi pendidikan agama Kristen. Ada pun hasil penelitian ini adlaah melalui pendidikan yang menumbuhkan kesadaran afektif dan spiritual, peserta didik diajak untuk mengenali perasaan, empati, dan tanggung jawab terhadap seluruh ciptaan Tuhan. Pendidikan agama Kristen yang memperhatikan dimensi emosional manusia berpotensi menciptakan praktik hidup yang berlandaskan kasih dan penghargaan terhadap alam. Dengan demikian, integrasi ekologi emosional dalam pendidikan agama Kristen menjadi langkah penting dalam menumbuhkan iman yang aktif, peduli, dan berkomitmen menjaga keberlanjutan ciptaan Allah.
