    In this edition (Volume 19, Number 2, the Year 2019), Sociae Polites focused on economic and environmental issues. Selina Tikau critically analyzed the effectiveness of Kredit Usaha Rakyat Berbasis Ekspor (KURBE). In her article titled "Effect of Export Improvement Policy through Export-Oriented Credit Business Programs on Export Growth of Micro Small Medium Enterprises in 2016," she found several challenges in expanding KURBE. She recommended promoting greater socialization and transparency of KURBE data. Della Junita Sari discussed Indonesia's economic diplomacy toward Australia in her article "The Role of Indonesia's Economic Diplomacy in the Dynamics of Indonesia's Relationship with Australia under the Leadership of Joko Widodo (2014-2016)." She argued that Indonesia needs to improve human resources and product quality to maximize the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic  Agreement.

    Christin Sicilia Blandina Ansanay offered a critical examination on Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation Plus (REDD+) using a Central Kalimantan case study. She emphasized that Norway has helped Indonesia to implement REDD+ in Central Kalimantan. The article "Indonesia-Norway Cooperation to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions through REDD+ Schemes (Case Study: Forests of Central Kalimantan)" also discussed the challenges of REDD+ in Central Kalimantan. 

    Fenny Maria Christien focused on "French Education Diplomacy in Indonesia via Joint Working Group Implementation." Florensia Stevany Hanna discussed "Syria's Defense and Security Policy in Addressing the Issue of Foreign Terrorist Fighters (Period 2011-2016)"

    In this edition (Volume 19, Number 1, the Year 2018), Sociae Polites focused on Indonesian higher education. Chontina Siahaan, Hendry Sinuraya, and Donal mentioned that Universitas Kristen Indonesia had adopted Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI) to respond to current challenges to Indonesian higher education. The article "the Framework of Teaching Learning Process of Indonesian National Qualification in Private College" suggested several recommendations to enhance the implementation of KKNI in private colleges, such as the betterment of campus facilities and infrastructure.

    Ulyantraja Kelamor critically analyzed the "Implementation of Indonesian Culture Diplomacy toward Australia through IndoFest Period 2012-2016 (Case Study: Adelaide and Canberra)." Meanwhile, Hanna Ladrika Precillia discussed "Indonesia-Fiji Bilateral Relationship Development through South-South Cooperation in 1999-2016." Marshelia Gloria Narida focused on "Utilization of Artificial Intelligence in Public Relations as a Boundary Spanning in E-Commerce Type of B2C." Sinta Herindrasti gives her review on Yuval Noah Harari's book "21 Lessons for 21st Century: Human Search for the Meaning of Existence."

    Sociae Polites is a scientific journal which has been published since 1997 with registered number p-ISSN : 1410-3745 by Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Kristen Indonesia covered the results of research, study of literature and critical thoughts about social and political issues. Spesifically Political Studies, International Relations and Communications.

    Sociae Polites derived from Latin. Sociae means the social science that studies the aspects related to human and social environment. Polites political means, that all matters relating to the state, government and citizenship. Its main objective is to provide a means for the lecturers to convey the ideas in the form of study, research, scientific papers and opinion as part of the Tri Dharma College that is teaching, Research and Community Services.

    Sociae Polites expected for aiming results of studies and research in Social and Political Sciences area can be disseminated to the public so that bring up to new ideas for development of Social and Political Science.
    Sociae Polites regularly will publish in two times issues each year.
