Evangelisasi dan Pendidikan Agama Kristen: Pendidikan Minat dan Pemahaman Injil Generasi Milenial Pantekosta

Abstrak

Tren gereja dunia pasa saat ini berada dalam krisis generasi milenial yang melarikan diri dari gereja, tulisan ini justru menampilkan pendidikan minat dan pemahaman Injil bagi generasi milenial Pantekosta agar terlibat evangelisasi dengan cara meneladani Yesus. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan lewat kuesioner dengan skala Likert, dianalisis dengan korelasi Pearson Product Moment memakai rumus statistik nilai Confidence Interval Lower and Upper Bound. Lokus penelitian Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Salatiga, Jawa Tengah, dan responden adalah mahasiswa tahun 2018-2020 sebanyak 65 orang semester 4 dan 6 yang telah menempuh mata kuliah Tafsir Injil Yohanes 4:1-42 dan Praktik Penginjilan. Temuan memperlihatkan bahwa upaya-upaya pembelajaran doktrinal oleh dosen baik itu akademis dan non akademis maupun kultur kelembagaan mendukung semakin terbentuknya praksis pendidikan tinggi keagamaan Kristen. Tulisan ini menyodorkan kerangka konseptual baru, yakni pendidikan minat dan pemahaman, untuk ilmu pedagogi misi di Pendidikan Agama Kristen maupun teologi misi di program studi Teologi.
