Peran Guru Kristen Sebagai Penuntun Terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa Selama Pembelajaran Daring

Abstrak

The role of Christian teachers as guides during online learning is very influential on students' interest in learning. By guiding their students, the teacher gives space for students to be involved in learning activities. However, in practice, there are still students who are bored, passive, and do not participate in the learning process, this is due to the lack of guidance from the teacher. As a result, students do not get a meaningful learning experience. Based on these problems, the purpose of this research is to examine the role of Christian teachers as guides to students' interest in learning during online learning. This study uses a literature review method, which results in the view that Christian teachers lead students to enjoy the presence of God in the learning process, and to live out their calling and competence to serve God. The conclusion obtained is that the role of Christian teachers as guides can only be done by imitating Christ and making Christ the basis for teaching, educating, encouraging students, preparing each learning material, and being an agent of God's reconciliation in the classroom. Christian teachers are advised to focus on learning and imitating Christ as the source of all things. As for further research, it is recommended to conduct classroom action research related to this topic so that it can be measured and applied in schools directly.
