HUBUNGAN ANTARA PEMBERIAN BIMBINGAN KARIER DENGAN PENGEMBANGAN POTENSI PESERTA DIDIK DI SMA CAHAYA SAKTI JAKARTA TIMUR

ABSTRACT
This study aims to answer the question whether there is a relationship between providing guidance with the development of self-potential of students at Cahaya Sakti High School. This study uses a quantitative method using a modified Likert model, which is a scale used to measure the provision of career guidance about the phenomenon of self-potential. The sample used in this study is random sampling. The results of the regression analysis showed a value of 0.647, meaning that the relationship between providing career guidance and developing the potential of students was said to be strong. The effective contribution of the variable providing career guidance to self- potential development was 64.7%, while the variance determination was 0.419 or 41.9%. The significance test of this study is 0.000 <0.05, so it is stated that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the relationship between providing career guidance and developing the potential of students is very significant. While the data analysis for the linear regression line is Ŷ = 12. 349 + 1.052 X, meaning that if the provision of career guidance is enhanced, self-potential development will also increase.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab pertanyaan apakah ada hubungan antara pemberian bimbingan karier dengan pengembangan potensi diri peserta didik di SMA Cahaya Sakti. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan modifikasi model Likert yakni suatu skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur pemberian bimbingan karier tentang fenomena potensi diri. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan random sampling. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan nilai sebesar 0.647, artinya hubungan antara pemberian bimbingan karier dengan pengembangan potensi diri peserta didik dikatakan kuat. Sumbangan efektif variabel pemberian bimbingan karier terhadap pengembangan potensi diri sebesar 64,7% sedangkan determinasi variannya sebesar 0.419 atau 41,9%. Adapun uji signifikansi penelitian ini sebesar 0.000<0.05 sehingga dinyatakan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya bahwa hubungan antara pemberian bimbingan karier dengan pengembangan potensi diri peserta didik bersifat sangat signifikan. Sedangkan data analisis untuk garis regresi linear yaitu Ŷ=12.349+1.052X, artinya apabila pemberian bimbingan karier ditingkatkan, maka pengembangan potensi diri juga akan meningkat.
