Jurnal Manajemen Risiko Editorial Team acknowledges that plagiarism is unacceptable and has established the following policy detailing the specific actions (penalties) to be taken when plagiarism is found in articles submitted for publication.
Plagiarism is an act intentionally or unintentionally to obtain or attempt to obtain credit or value for a scientific work by quoting one or all of the scientific works and/or works of other parties recognized as scientific works, without citing the source accurately and completely.
For that, then:
Articles must be original, unpublished, and not being evaluated for other publications. Material obtained orally from other sources must be properly recorded so that it can be distinguished from the original text. If plagiarism is revealed, the Editor in Chief is responsible for reviewing the article and will approve action based on the level of plagiarism revealed, in accordance with the rules below:
1. Plagiarize a few short sentences from other articles without citing the source.
Action: The author is given a warning and a request to change the text and citations properly.
2. Plagiarized most of the other articles without proper citation and not citing the source.
Action: The submitted article is rejected for publication in the Jurnal Manajemen Risiko and the author may be penalized for not being allowed to be published in the Jurnal Manajemen Risiko
Since they all signed the Jurnal Manajemen Risiko Publication Ethics Statement Form, all article authors are responsible for the content of the articles they submit. If an article is found plagiarized, all authors will face the same penalty. If it is confirmed that the author submitted the paper to Jurnal Manajemen Risiko while also submitting it to another journal, and this overlap is discovered during the review process or after publication, action is taken following point 2 above. If plagiarism is found outside the standards mentioned above, the Jurnal Manajemen Risiko editor has the authority to impose sanctions according to the policy of the editorial team.
Every manuscript that submitted into Jurnal Manajemen Risiko is going to be scanned using Turnitin (similarity check). The similarity threshold is 25%. We will reject the manuscript with similarity rate above 25% and inform the author immediately through the email.
