International education in Indonesia, especially in big cities like Jakarta, has experienced rapid development along with globalization and awareness of the importance of quality education to prepare young people to face the challenges of an increasingly connected world. International schools, which offer global curricula such as the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and the International Baccalaureate (IB), are increasingly in demand by parents who want to provide a broader educational experience for their children. This study aims to examine the differences in philosophy and curriculum applied in leading international schools in Jakarta and other big cities, as well as an analysis of the educational regulations that have been implemented. The results of the study show several distinctive aspects that differentiate each international school, including the curriculum used, curriculum structure, learning approaches, and assessment and evaluation applied, with their impact on student development. This study is expected to provide deeper insight into international education in Indonesia.
