This research was conducted using a qualitative method with data collection techniques of library research and discourse analysis. The research data was collected using secondary data collected through libraries, journals, books, articles, electronic media, websites, as well as speeches related to the presidential election. The findings show that there is sexism manifested in Islamic leadership discourse, such as gender stereotypes and the exclusion of women from high leadership positions. However, the post-Megawati Soekarnoputri presidential election showed significant changes in terms of gender inclusion in politics, with female candidates being seriously considered and greater participation of women in political campaigns. This research has important implications in the context of Muslim-majority Indonesia. By understanding the discourse of Islamic leadership and gender inclusion in politics, better gender equality can be achieved in Indonesian society.
2024-06-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Inada: Kajian Perempuan Indonesia di Daerah Tertinggal, Terdepan, dan Terluar http://ejournal.uki.ac.id/index.php/inada/article/view/5472 Potensi Rumah Perlindungan Pekerja Perempuan (RP3) di Kawasan Industri Krakatau Steel Cilegon dalam Pemberdayaan Pekerja Perempuan 2024-07-25T04:56:31+00:00 Rika Sa’diyah Sa_diyah@inada.com Nurfadhilah nurfadhilah.nf@umj.ac.id Nurjannah Achmad Achmad@inada.com
The Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (Kemen PPPA) issued Ministerial Regulation of PPA No. 1 of 2020 concerning Provision of Houses for Protection of Female Workers in the Workplace on March 31, 2020, as an effort to optimize the protection of female workers. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively on the results of the questionnaire and qualitatively on the results of in-depth interviews. House of Protection for Women Workers in Industrial Estates owned by PT. Krakatau Industrial Estate Cilegon or (KIEC) was inaugurated on December 10, 2019 in Cilegon City, Banten. Currently the management of PT KIEC has been changed to PT Krakatau Sarana Property (KSP). Since its establishment on December 10, 2019, RP3 Cilegon has periodically and continuously carried out various activities, both in the form of socialization as well as education and assistance. However, there are still many women workers who do not know of its existence so that the utilization of RP3 is still very limited. Cases that had been handled were in the form of termination of employment (PHK) for female workers, after self-isolation and being declared negative for COVID-19. The case was then resolved by agreement between the company and the workers with the facilitation of RP3 and the relevant agencies.
2024-06-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Inada: Kajian Perempuan Indonesia di Daerah Tertinggal, Terdepan, dan Terluar http://ejournal.uki.ac.id/index.php/inada/article/view/5226 Peran Perempuan Pengelola Bantuan Program Keluarga Harapan di Kelurahan Kambajawa Kabupaten Sumba Timur Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur 2024-07-25T04:57:00+00:00 Martini Ndamunamu mndamunamu@gmail.com Asinkritus Lalu Manu Mesa gabrielzinzendorf@gmail.com
Poverty for women is an important issue in development, so poverty alleviation programs must have a gender perspective. This study aimed to explore more deeply the role of women in the implementation and utilization of the Conditional Cash Transfers (CCTs) social assistance to the beneficiary family component using a phenomenological approach. This research involved three participants who received CCTs assistance since 2012 in Kambajawa Urban Village, East Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Data was collected using in-depth interview methods and analyzed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) techniques. This research found that women who receive CCTs use social assistance to meet their daily needs, especially their children's school needs. Through CCTs, women play a role in empowering fellow women beneficiaries. CCTs activities could open women's access to public services, namely processing family population documents, opening up financial literacy insights, and banking access to save for their children's future.
2024-06-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Inada: Kajian Perempuan Indonesia di Daerah Tertinggal, Terdepan, dan Terluar http://ejournal.uki.ac.id/index.php/inada/article/view/5944 Latihan Yoga Saat Haid untuk Mengatasi Nyeri Dymenorrhea Solusi untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Hidup Remaja Putri 2024-07-25T04:57:23+00:00 Nuryaningsih Nuryaningsih@inada.com Nurfadhilah nurfadhilah.nf@umj.ac.id Heri Rosyati Rosyati@inada.com Hayuning Qolbah Qolbah@inada.com
Yoga during menstruation is an activity of providing yoga movement exercises in reducing or overcoming menstrual pain. The target of this dedication is class 6 students at SDN 02 and SDN 05 Marunda. The purpose of this program is to provide yoga movement training to students at SDN 02 and SDN 05 Marunda class 6 about yoga during menstruation, providing knowledge about how to do yoga movements to deal with menstrual pain. According to the results of a previous study in March–August 2021 concerning the effect of yoga on dysmenorrhea during menstruation, 60% of students at SDN 05 and SDN 02 Marunda Class 6 experienced pain during menstruation. The implementation of yoga movement exercises is carried out offline and in stages, namely the first stage for students of SDN 02 class 6 and the next stage for students of SDN 05 Marunda class 6. Yoga training is given by certified yoga instructors and carried out by strictly implementing the COVID-19 health protocol. To evaluate the effectiveness of the activity, Grade 6 elementary school students were asked to repeat yoga movements during menstruation, and afterward, Grade 6 elementary school students were provided with yoga videos so they could repeat the yoga movements at home and strengthen their memory of the yoga movements so they could do them properly and correctly. The provision of yoga training is expected to reduce or overcome pain when experiencing menstruation, so that the quality of life of young women will increase.
2024-06-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Inada: Kajian Perempuan Indonesia di Daerah Tertinggal, Terdepan, dan Terluar http://ejournal.uki.ac.id/index.php/inada/article/view/5357 Perubahan Relasi Kuasa dan Dominasi Ibu dalam Budaya Patriarki Keluarga Batak pada Film “Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap" 2024-07-25T04:54:40+00:00 Yehezkiel Anderson Sihombing yehezkiela.1999@gmail.com Melati Mediana Tobing Tobing@inada.com Chontina Siahaan Siahaan@inada.com Marshelia Gloria Narida Narida@inada.com
Patriarchal culture is basically a culture that is unconsciously internalized and perpetuated by Indonesian society. This culture views that men are central and must be the most glorified figures. This understanding then indirectly places women as subordinates or parties whose voices do not need to be considered. In its development, women continue to experience repression by society, both in terms of education, economics and culture. However, the patriarchal culture internalized by society today is experiencing a shift in several aspects. For example, in the household, decision making is no longer placed in the hands of men, but is often based on joint decisions. One of the shifts discussed in this research is the role shift that occurs regarding women's roles as mothers. For this reason, this research seeks to discuss how the dominant role of mothers in patriarchal culture is represented through the film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap.

This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze the film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap which represents patriarchal culture in Batak families. Using Semiotics theory, Roland Barthes describes how signs can provide meaning or messages. In this research, signs are discussed from each scene shown in the film. Each scene was then examined to see how the dominant role of women was depicted in the film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap. Based on this, the research results show that there is a dominant role of mothers shown in this film. This dominance is not indicated in the patriarchal culture that is often internalized by society, but instead is something new that many people are not aware of. The dominant role of women is divided into 3, namely the mother's hegemony over the family, the female character's resistance to repression carried out by the male character, and space to voice opinions. Through these findings it can be concluded that women are no longer depicted as weak figures, instead women are able to oppose and resist the patriarchal cultural system which tends to glorify men.
2024-06-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Inada: Kajian Perempuan Indonesia di Daerah Tertinggal, Terdepan, dan Terluar
