Abstract

The "Development of Congregational Spirituality and Health Check-ups Accompanied by Social Service of Lecturers and Students" program at Sungai Yordan Church, Serang, aims to address the spiritual and health needs of the congregation amidst modern social challenges. This initiative is designed to enhance the congregation's quality of life through a holistic approach that integrates spirituality, health, and social services. Through the active involvement of lecturers and students, the program promotes the practical implementation of theological and health knowledge in a local community context. Key activities include spirituality development training, regular health check-ups, and social service activities that support community welfare. The program also builds networks with local institutions, government, and NGOs to maximize resources and social impact. Preliminary results show a significant increase in health awareness and active participation of the congregation in spiritual activities, contributing to their improved quality of life. This program is expected to serve as an effective collaborative model that can be replicated in other churches to address similar challenges, with a focus on enhancing sustainability and responsiveness to congregational needs.
