KAJIAN FENOMENOLOGI PADA PENELITIAN BAHASA
Abstract
Fenomenologi, dikonseptualisasikan oleh Edmund Husserl, berpusat pada pengalaman subjektif individu saat mereka terlibat dengan dan memanfaatkan bahasa (Husserl, 2012). fenomenologi berfokus pada bagaimana bahasa dipahami dan dialami oleh individu (Bonyadi, 2023). Pendekatan ini menghindari generalisasi kuantitatif dan lebih mengedepankan eksplorasi kualitatif atas makna dan persepsi bahasa oleh penutur (Ritunnano et al., 2023). Digunakan untuk menggali pengalaman subjektif pengguna bahasa, dengan fokus pada makna yang dihasilkan individu dalam penggunaan bahasa. Metode ini sering melibatkan teknik seperti wawancara mendalam dan analisis naratif, yang memungkinkan peneliti untuk memahami bagaimana individu membentuk makna melalui bahasa. Pendekatan fenomenologis dalam analisis historis bahasa menekankan pengalaman subjektif individu, menawarkan wawasan tentang bagaimana konteks pribadi dan sosial membentuk pemahaman bahasa. Fokus fenomenologi pada pengalaman subjektif sangat relevan dalam memahami penggunaan bahasa dalam konteks sejarah, seperti pengaturan kolonial, di mana dominasi budaya memainkan peran penting
