The Community Service Activity carried out by the UKI Faculty of Engineering Architecture Study Program is entitled Green Action 34 Improving the Skills of Karang Taruna Community Members in Kebon Pala Village Through Socialization and Mural Design Workshops. This activity is a continuation of the previous Community Service Activity which aims to increase the skills of members of the Karang Taruna community in Kebon Pala Village by providing material provision through socialization and workshops. The method involves inviting resource persons to provide material to the participants and then holding a workshop by directly practicing how to paint a mural by choosing a location at the Kebon Pala Village Head Office as a pilot project in this activity. This Community Service activity provides paint sponsor Aviand Brands which prepares all the tools and materials for Mural activities in this mural activity. Participants will be given funds to buy paint and brushes so they can carry out workshop activities so that the results are satisfactory. The results show that the mural design can be completed well and obtain satisfactory results

Di pedalaman desa Damarwulan, Jepara, masyarakat hidup dalam harmoni dengan budaya kerja yang mengesankan. Masyarakat ini menempuh perjalanan ke sawah dan ladang setiap hari dengan jarak yang tak dekat, melintasi medan berat, sambil membawa peralatan pertanian atau hasil kebun. Kehidupan masyarakat ini dipenuhi beragam pekerjaan, termasuk seni pengerjaan kayu, pertanian, budidaya tanaman kopi, cengkeh, dan peternakan. Namun, yang menarik adalah komposisi penduduk desa ini, yang sebagian besar terdiri dari wanita, lansia, dan anak-anak. Pemuda dan pria dewasa pergi merantau ke kota-kota besar, mengadopsi budaya baru dan kebiasaan makanan manis. Akibatnya, masalah kesehatan seperti sakit otot, pegal, hipertensi, dan diabetes menjadi umum. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, ide penting muncul, memberikan penyuluhan tentang gaya hidup sehat dan mendirikan posko pengobatan gratis. Perubahan sosial yang cepat akibat perkembangan teknologi dan ekonomi digital telah memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan moralitas remaja. Teknologi telah menggeser perilaku dan sikap remaja pada orientasi pada teknologi itu sendiri, sehingga moralitas mengalami distrupsi. Ekonomi digital, di sisi lain, menguatkan pergeseran nilai-nilai moralitas yang berdasar pada kekuatan ekonomi digital itu sendiri. Kondisi ini menyebabkan moralitas remaja mengalami ketidakseimbangan di dalam komunitas masyarakat. Penurunan moralitas remaja dalam era digitalisasi merupakan permasalahan bangsa, sehingga memerlukan penyuluhan terhadap peran orang tua. Peranan orang tua dalam pembentukan karakter remaja, khususnya di Gereja Kristen Jawa (GKJ) Cilacap Utara, menjadi prioritas dalam pengembangan program GKJ. Nilai moralitas menjadi prioritas pada penyuluhan atas pembentukan nilai pendidikan moral melalui peranan orang tua. Penyuluhan ini menjadi sebuah gerakan untuk membangun nilai moralitas melalui peranan orang tua. Oleh karena itu, penyuluhan pendidikan keluarga melalui peranan orang tua dalam pembentukan karakter remaja di GKJ Cilacap Utara. Pembentukan karakter anak remaja menjadi suatu prioritas utama bagi GKJ Cilacap Utara sebagai tulang punggung jemaat masa depan.

The Dayak Tomun tribe lives in traditional houses, which is related to bathing, washing, and latrine (BWL) problems. After the inventory is carried out, several aspects are then studied, both potential aspects and inhibiting aspects, by taking into account environmental factors, including the existence of surrounding natural resources. A potential aspect studied is the readiness and acceptance of the Dayak Tomun tribe in understanding aesthetics and health, related to BWL activities around their homes. The inhibiting aspect is the lack of facilities and knowledge about aesthetics and health. In the arrangement of the new floor plan, it is necessary to complete the feasibility of using the function of BWL rooms, sanitation facilities, clean water sources that are far from the river. The proposal for the development of this traditional house design, of course, considers the broad standards and circulation of space activities inside the house with activities in outdoor spaces resulting in space patterns that are more private, semi-public, and public. The use of non-organic building materials (steel and concrete) in traditional home repairs makes the physical existence of the building better. Meanwhile, with the existence of signs and customary cultural systems that have decreased in meaning, this can be avoided by preservation efforts, if the Housing and Settlement Office, and the Tourism Office make policies or regulations to maintain the design of traditional houses to continue to exist amid the rapid production of modern material products as building materials.

Abstract

The concept of waste reduction (reduce), recycling or reusing (reuse/recycle), and safe disposal (dispose) is highly crucial in mitigating waste pollution today. The Community Service activity carried out at SMP Advent Tompaso through socialization and a creative waste recycling competition themed "Reduce Wasted and Save The Earth" underscores the importance of these principles. The enthusiasm of the students to learn about waste recycling methods in their environment, which can hold significant economic and market value, is evident. Furthermore, the participation of each class, sending their teams to compete in every contest, demonstrates their active involvement. From the two contests, namely the fashion show and waste recycling craft competition, it is apparent that each student possesses high levels of creativity. Plastic and paper waste transformed into clothing showcased in the fashion show highlight the variety of designs created. Meanwhile, the crafting of plastic waste into flower-shaped handicrafts demonstrates both economic and market value. Through the dissemination of information and the competitions, the hope is that students will not only become more environmentally conscious but also actively contribute to mitigating the impacts of global warming. They are encouraged not to dispose of waste recklessly but instead to start sorting waste in their surroundings, thus contributing to the preservation of the world and their immediate environment.

Peningkatan Kualitas Tata Kelola Pemerintahan : Manajemen Risiko dan Sistem Pengendalian Intern di Kecamatan Kabupaten Bekasi

Peningkatan kualitas tata kelola pemerintahan, diukur melalui Indeks Reformasi Birokrasi, menjadi fokus utama dalam memperbaiki perekonomian daerah. Salah satu strategi yang diadopsi adalah meningkatkan Maturitas Penyelenggaraan Sistem Pengendalian Intern Pemerintah (SPIP) oleh Pemerintah Daerah. Pemerintah Kabupaten Bekasi menghadapi tantangan dalam implementasi manajemen risiko sesuai mandat Pasal 13 ayat (1) Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 60 Tahun 2008. Pemahaman komprehensif mengenai manajemen risiko diperlukan oleh perangkat daerah untuk mendukung efektivitas SPIP. Meskipun Pemerintah Kabupaten Bekasi telah mencapai Predikat Level 2 untuk Maturitas SPIP, area perbaikan utama terletak pada manajemen risiko. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, pelatihan dan sosialisasi dilakukan pada tahun 2023, namun hanya terbatas pada perangkat daerah tingkat Dinas/Badan dan belum menyentuh Kecamatan.

Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, demonstrasi, latihan/praktik, dan prosedur kerja. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) berhasil di Kantor Pemerintah Kabupaten Bekasi dengan peserta dari 23 Kecamatan. PkM mencakup pre-test, pemberian materi manajemen risiko dan SPIP terintegrasi, post-test, dan pemberian sertifikat kepada peserta. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dari rata-rata nilai pre-test 3.33 menjadi post-test 5.47. Kesimpulannya, PkM ini berhasil memberikan kontribusi signifikan dengan melibatkan tim PkM UKI, Inspektorat Daerah, dan PT Klase Auto Rental (KAR) sebagai mitra pendukung.

Elections are short for General Elections, which are a democratic process where citizens vote for their leaders and representatives through a voting process. Often, community participation as voters is still suboptimal and needs to be optimized. In the 2024 elections, it is necessary to conduct online voter list verification socialization in villages because rural residents often lack understanding of technology, where access to information technology in Indonesia still experiences gaps. Therefore, to increase voter participation, one effort that can be made is by creating a program "Optimizing Voter Participation Through Socialization of Online Permanent Voter List (PVT) Verification Guidelines."

Supported by Kramat Jati Village in East Jakarta, Poktan Mustika is a microenterprise that converts shallot skins into Kopidara organic fertiliser. The focus of Community Service (PKM) initiatives at the UKI Faculty of Engineering is Poktan Mustika. With sustained cooperation (MoU) between the UKI Faculty of Engineering and Kramat Jati Village, East Jakarta, this PKM activity seeks to develop a Poktan Mustika information system based on the company profile website in order to promote Kopidara organic fertiliser online. Through coordination with local sub-district officials, interviews, and field observations, the PKM method culminates in the development of the Poktan Mustika website and a memorandum of understanding for cooperation. The Poktan Mustika website is optimised with the keywords 'organic fertiliser' and 'farmer groups' and is incorporated with Google Maps, Poktan Mustika YouTube, and Kopidara fertiliser. The identified challenge pertained to the requirement for training initiatives and the implementation of digital technology for administrators of Mustika Poktan.

The main cause of the low survival rate for Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA) victims is the delay in reporting and administering Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Remembering the importance of basic life support in determining the level of success of subsequent medical procedures and patient survival. The aim of this activity is to provide knowledge and skills to residents about BHD.

This target group includes a group of people, both men and women in the Purwokerto City Asthma Gymnastics Club Association in the Banyumas Regency and surrounding areas, consisting of health cadres, housewives, 30 workers. The location for the activity is RT 4, RW 2, Sumbang Village, Purwokerto. The method of implementing activities is pre-test, post-test, lecture, discussion, simulation and demonstration. The implementation is carried out within 5 hours in 1 day consisting of 2 hours of discussion lectures, 3 hours of simulations and demonstrations.

The knowledge results before the training were 93.3% lacking knowledge and 6.7% sufficient knowledge, after being given training 6.7% were good, 63.3% sufficient and 30% insufficient. Meanwhile, skills before training were 0% good, 3.3% sufficient and 96.6% poor, after training 10% were good, 66.7% sufficient and 23.3% poor. Conclusion BHD and home emergency training increases knowledge and skills in the general public

Bahasa mampu menjangkau semua kalangan, organisasi atau budaya manusia, termasuk tulisan. Seperti kita ketahui bahwa saat ini media sosial sangat banyak diminati oleh semua kalangan. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di desa Tobat, Tangerang. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman akan pentingnya kalimat hoak. Pengamatan tim abdimas yang merupakan warga desa Tobat bahwa masih terdapat ibu-ibu yang dengan mudahnya menyebarkan informasi melalui media sosial tanpa mencari tahu kebenarannya. Selain itu, ibu-ibu menjadi korban berita hoak yang ada. Observasi tim abdimas terhadap media social ibu-ibu juga masih terdapat penyebaran berita hoak. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pelaksanaan PKM ini adalah metode sosialisasi, berbagi pengalaman, diskusi bersama dan PLA. Beberapa hasil kegiatan abdimas ini yaitu pertama, program ini berhasil memberikan pemahaman terhadap ibu-ibu di desa Tobat akan berita hoak, kedua, Sampai saat ini, para ibu masih suka berkomunikasi dengan tim abdimas berkenaan dengan berita hoak, ketiga, para anak dan remaja juga perlu mendapatkan sosialisasi terhadap berita hoak.

Abstract

Advances in computer and smartphone-based technology are a current trend. Technological developments in the world of education, for example, include the emergence of technology-based media or learning resources such as learning media with web-based Virtual Reality (VR). Web-based Virtual Reality (VR) is a new innovation in the world of education to be able to create innovations that will have an impact on increasing students' interest in learning chemistry material. Virtual Reality is a media that combines text, animation, video, images and audio in one application. The research used wes a qualitative descriptive method by providing VR research products in class and then distributing a questionnaire regarding high school students’ perceptions of VR. The results of the research show that students’ perceptions of media using virtual reality.

The reluctance of taxpayers to submit annual e-SPT reports stems from the stigma of public distrust of tax officials; very complicated tax regulations that are difficult for taxpayers to understand; a large number of tax regulations issued every year; and a lack of socialization against tax regulations. A questionnaire filled out by twenty-five employees of PT. BPR Bantoru Perintis. Respondents who filled out the questionnaire were mostly male, with the most common age range being 25 to 30 years, having the highest annual income ranging from IDR 60,000,000 to IDR 250,000,000, having a high school education level, and having attended counseling or tax socialization. If multiple linear regressions are carried out with the help of the SPSS program on questions regarding the impact of tax awareness and tax sanctions on compliance with payment and reporting of individual annual tax returns, it can be said that awareness of taxes and tax sanctions significantly and simultaneously affect compliance with payment and reporting of annual tax returns. In addition, compliance with payment and reporting of individual annual tax returns will be affected by 50.9% of awareness of taxes and tax sanctions, while the remaining 49.1% are influenced by other variables.

The earthquake caused damage to residential buildings and caused landslides in vital and densely populated areas. The fault that occurred on the eastern plateau in Sarampad Village was in the form of a relatively long shift in land. Physical land shifts due to faults can be seen from shifts in Sarampad Village, where the huts in the fields have moved very far from their original position. Likewise, landslides occurred in the horseshoe area of the national road between Cianjur City and Puncak, with the slope of the surrounding landslide being quite steep on the upper slope of the highway and continuing down the slope on the side of the highway leading to the river below the surface of the road. The existence of a river indicates a layer of water close to the surface of the land used by the community and army dormitories near that location. This condition causes the soil to become saturated with water, making it a factor that causes landslides quickly if an earthquake occurs. Landslides on the ridge above the highway have been strengthened with stone gabion reinforcements placed with a terracing system. Meanwhile, the landslides under the highway have not been reinforced. Also, faults that occur on road sections transversely on the road body close to the horseshoe with curved contours need to be handled seriously

Community Service (PkM) is a means of carrying out the mission of Universitas Pelita Harapan which is to contribute to the advancement of science and culture based on Biblical Christian insights and participate in the development of individuals and society for the glory of God. PkM activities were carried out at the Indonesian Bible Christian Church on Jalan Raya Kelapa Dua, Ruko Blitz, Blok A No. 28, Gading Serpong, Tangerang, Banten. The needs analysis based on the questionnaire showed that the congregation did not fully understand how to have healthy snacks at an affordable price. The low economic condition of the congregation makes the congregation prefer to consume cheap and unhealthy food without paying attention to the health of the body. The objectives of the PkM were to 1) provide counseling on nutritious snacks, and 2) conduct training on making purple sweet potato mochi. PkM was held on September 2, 2023, attended by 20 people, delivered by lecture demonstration method. The results of PkM based on the results of the evaluation questionnaire can be seen that 77% of respondents stated that the material presented was very clear, 55.6% agreed that watching YouTube mochi making that had been given helped to practice it at home, 55.6% strongly agreed that they were interested in practicing it at home, and 44.4% of respondents strongly agreed that making purple sweet potato mochi was easy to do.

Perempuan Jemaat HKBP Duren Jaya Bekasi: Tatakelola Hidup Sehat, Bugar dan Bijak Menggunakan Kosmetik

Sebagai implementasi kerjasama UKI dengan HKBP Duren Jaya bekasi dan berkaitan dengan hari Kartini 21 April 2024, jemaat perempuan HKBP Duren Jaya membuat program seminar dan juga sejalan dengan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) UKI. Metode PkM dengan seminar yang dihadiri pendeta, majelis gereja dan jemaat berempuan berjumlah 86 orang. Jemaat perempuan bervariasi ditinjau dari aspek umur, sosial dan ekonomi. Jemaat perempuan terdiri dari perempuan yang masih aktif bekerja, ibu rumah tangga, perempuan yang sudah pensiun yang sehari-hari menjaga cucu, aktif kegiatan di gereja, paduan suara, pesta adat, dan lain-lain. Oleh karena itu jemaat perempuan memiliki harapan tetap sehat, bugar, cantik agar bisa aktif dalam kegiatannya sehari-hari. Peserta sangat antusias menyimak dan bertanya tentang kesehatan, gizi dan kebugaran sesuai dengan kondisi dan permasalahan yang dialami. Adapun hasil setelah seminar jemaat memiliki pemahaman pada intinya kesehatan dipengaruhi empat faktor yakni lingkungan, perilaku, layanan kesehatan dan gen. Hidup sehat harus memperhatikan gizi yang seimbang dengan kondisi masing-masing bonusnya cantik. Agar kulit tetap cantik maka yang perlu adalah membersihkan kulit, memberi pelembab dan memakai skin cara yang aman.

Student life at school is a colorful life. At school students are filled with knowledge in order to think critically and have soft skills in organizations including religious organizations. Students' disinterest in religious activities can be caused by their lack of understanding of the importance of vision - mission and SWOT analysis in service which will have an impact on the difficulty in designing service programs. Vision and mission are fundamental things needed to be able to determine goals, objectives and make service programs. Therefore, Perkantas Lampung as a school partner conducts coaching in the form of counseling and workshops to help school fellowship administrators in formulating a vision - mission and also planning a service program for the school fellowship. Based on the worksheets provided, the student leaders were finally able to start thinking about the simple things needed in building a Christian student fellowship in their school.

EDUKASI MENGELOLA KEUANGAN BAGI PELAKU UMKM DI LINGKUNGAN UNIVERSITAS KRISTEN INDONESIA

This PKM aims to overcome the problems faced by MSMEs in the UKI environment (canteen) when students are on holiday by focusing on education on managing MSME business finances. When students are on holiday, cafeterias face reduced revenues, inventory surpluses, financial risks, and growth constraints. Therefore, through PKM, we try to overcome this problem through an educational approach. The education carried out is education regarding financial management, simple bookkeeping, digital payment solutions, and online platform activation. From the results of discussions held during the activity, it was found that the majority of participants had not activated online sales using certain platforms, had not separated personal and business finances, had not kept bookkeeping for their business activities, and were still hesitant to use Qris as an alternative payment from buyers. After counseling, participants stated that they wanted to do good bookkeeping, wanted to make sales online, and wanted to use Qris. Continuous assistance is needed so that participants can increase their canteen income through online sales so that when students are on holiday there is no decrease in income, and assistance is needed so that participants can keep their business bookkeeping well so they can know whether their business is profitable and efficient. As well as the need for monitoring the use of Qris from the bank where participants open Qris so that any problems related to Qris can be resolved immediately.

Literasi Anti Hoaks dan Sosialisasi Pelaksanaan Pemilu 2024 pada Generasi Z melalui Webinar

The fierce competition between political parties and legislative candidates tends to use various methods to win the 2024 elections, including using fake news or hoaxes. Generation Z, who have no experience in conducting general elections, are trapped in a spiral of information on various social media platforms, making it difficult to make their choices and leading to irrational voters and "abstentions". The webinar for digital natives who are fluent in communicating via digital media was carried out 5 days before the 2024 election. The aim was for novice voters as webinar participants to play an active role by becoming anti-hoax agents and being able to convey the procedures for implementing the 2024 election. The webinar method includes public education through presentation of resource material, training in the form of intensive questions and answers, also mediation in the form of quizzes with prizes and filling out questionnaires. Post-test results on 52 participants who filled out the Google form showed that they had made their choice during the webinar and often read news about the 2024 Election. All respondents admitted that they accessed information from digital and electronic media and none used print media. Interestingly, 54% of respondents have the intention in getting involved in politics. Through an open questionnaire, it was discovered that Gen-z respondents had positive hopes for the election winners and future Indonesian leaders.

In the Kramatjati Sub-District Office Complex, there is an Integrated Child-Friendly Public Space (RPTRA) built on a vacant land formerly occupied by a soy sauce factory. RPTRA Mustika Kramatjati has successfully revitalized the area, preventing urban decay that could lead to the emergence of slums, abandonment, and increased crime rates. However, due to population growth, this RPTRA faces limitations in accommodating activities, and its densely packed schedule leads to insufficient maintenance. Therefore, redesign or reengineering is necessary to make this RPTRA more effective in facilitating community activities and providing comfort. In this collaborative program, The Faculty of Engineering of Architecture UKI partners with stakeholders to propose a redesign of RPTRA as the primary solution to address these issues. It is hoped that this Community Service Team can make a tangible contribution to optimizing the RPTRA's function in accordance with the established RPTRA Management Guidelines. This initiative involves field observations, data collection, design presentations to stakeholders, and engages professors and students from the Architecture Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Kristen Indonesia, as a contribution to the community in the field of architecture.

The Community Service Program (PKM) entitled "CLEAN ENERGY EDUCATION AND SOLAR PANEL APPLICATION AT THE HKBP AEK BOLON CHURCH" in the Aek Bolon Julu Village, Balige District, Toba Regency, demonstrated the commitment of the PKM team to raise awareness and utilize solar energy. Cooperation with the Pomparan Opung Jaenna Siahaan indigenous community provided significant financial and logistical support, including funding for the construction of solar panel lamp foundation poles, location permits, as well as transportation and accommodation for the PKM implementation team. The impact was not only seen in cost savings for the Church and its congregation but also in optimizing the Church hall asset, which could then be used more effectively at night. Before the solar panel lighting, fear and limited access to the Church at night were the main obstacles. Through educational activities such as lectures during worship days, the PKM team succeeded in increasing the Church community's awareness of sustainable solutions. This program not only provided improvements in infrastructure but also created a safe and comfortable environment, reflecting the positive impact directly felt by the community around the HKBP AEK BOLON Church.

The elderly is a normal process for every individual. The elderly are also not a burden on themselves or the internal/external environment. For this reason, regulations in Indonesia provide information that the number of elderly people is increasing nationally in Indonesia. The elderly at HKBP Perumnas II South Bekasi are part of the number of elderly in Indonesia. They have programmed activities, but they also need enlightenment from the scientific field and its implications as Christians. The aim of the seminar and discussion with topics related to the Philosophy of Knowledge, Theology, Mythology and the Color of Life for the Elderly as Christians at HKBP Perumnas II South Bekasi" is a form of Community Service with the aim of providing a new perspective for the elderly. The number of participants who attended was 46 participants (73%) and 17 elderly people did not attend (27%). This data provides information that the number of elderly people who attended was still greater than those who were unable to attend.

Findings from the community service results: testimonials from elderly people that similar activities had never been done before, elderly participants were very enthusiastic, and hoped that other activities could be carried out, such as health checks.
